Always interesting items on offer and great sales, the world of auctions is fascinating.

We notice you have left us a negative review on the saleroom, for an incident which occurred three years ago due to human error from an inexperienced staff member, for which you mutually agreed to cancel the transaction. Even though it was mutually agreed, you still proceeded to leave us a negative comment for which we have now decided to no longer bid on any of your auctions in the future. At the end of the day, for one small error, it will now be a bigger loss for yourselves as we will be taking our business to other reputable auction houses.

Woolley & Wallis are very unprofessional and have no interest in keeping good business relations. On numerous occasions they have made amicable mutual agreements with us and later on have played unfairly by initiating repercussions. As a result of this we have decided to take our business and money elsewhere since we have lost all faith in them and would much rather deal with friendly, helpful and professional auctioneers… if you would like to be messed around and manipulated then this is the best place to purchase from otherwise avoid at all costs!

A friendly and professional auction house that very much deserves its reputation as one of the best in the country. Their specialists are well trained, current, discerning and accommodating to all condition report and postage requests. They clearly value their client base and will flex to meet requests to the fullest extent. Expect accurate and detailed valuation and punctual transactions; having dealt with their Oriental Arts and Jewelry departments, I can confidently state that they have my full trust and repeat custom going forward.
