Excellent choice of items, extremely helpful staff. We will 100% be buying from them regularly. Extremely happy with all our items purchased.

Terrible service! I purchase a lot from this auction house, and called to check I could collect on the Saturday, when I turned up they couldn’t find the whole lot and promised to post the remainder to me. They ended up sending some items to me but again not everything was there. They admitted it was an error and promised to send all my items. I’ve sent 7-8 messages and called 4-5 times and they are just ignoring me now and I still don’t have all my items. I’d stay away from this auction house at all cost!

I just wanted to say that I have been in the Swan antiques several times over the years and recently a bit more often. The warm welcome I receive every time has been noticed. I have experienced an amazing service and help with purchasing a painting that my family will love for years to come. Thank you.

Very disappointing considering changes over the years. No good paintings worthy of note. Jewellery section rather poor. Very confusing on website that restaurant is NOT part and not open. Unlikely to visit again from the years visited before.

Amazing professional and experienced service. Dealt with a young man called Joe and owner Tom. They both made it an easy and enjoyable experience. Girl on front counter that I believe her name was jaya was so friendly and helpful. If your even slightly interested in antiques I can't recommend the swan enough.

Very interesting (wonky) old building housing 3 floors of antiques from various corners of the world. Fantastic place to mooch around if you have a few hours to spare. They have monthly auctions held in one of the big rooms downstairs. Sensible dogs are welcome which is a really nice touch too...

As an antique dealer with 3 shops, i need to keep looking for different auction houses to acquire stock from, well i won't be using Swan's again. i am sure i will get a very polite reply telling me that the item was correctly cataloged blah blah. When i rang up to question what i had purchased for the 3rd time, each time i was told someone would ring me back the receptionist was very nice and went and found someone for me. this lady was not so polite and became very defensive when i questioned the description of what i bought. The item was not older than 5 years and was a modern replica but this was not explained in the description and the clock was incomplete not having a pendulum, where a replacement pendulum will cost more than what the clock is actually worth. the clock was over valued with a guide of £200.00. Never again! i question who does the valuations at this place and whether they actually know what they are doing.
