Reigate Auto Refinishing

I took my elderly neighbours for their Covid jabs on a dark, wet January evening to a large busy venue and unfortunately scraped the rear side of my Hyundai i20 on a post in the car park. See photos. Reigate Auto Finishing were recommended to me as a company who would carry out an excellent repair for a fair price. I did get quotes from other repairers, but decided to take my car to Reigate Auto Finishing for repair. Dave explained clearly what work would need to be done and kept me advised of progress. It was ready for collection when promised. My car has metallic paintwork and I can only say that I am extremely pleased with their repair. It now looks as good as new. I found the service to be very efficient and friendly. They are a bit tucked away down a driveway in a residential area, just make sure you ask for directions so you can find them easily.

I had used Reigate Auto Refinishing before and found David and his teams work to be absolutely perfection. Someone keyed my 6 series recently and was quoted £1500 by BMW to repair....suffice it to say I left.

David got me booked in, had the car for 3 days and it has come out better than when it left the factory. The work is absolutely fantastic. I couldn't be happier. The price for the work is really low as well, very very good value for money! I will definitely return as and when something else needs painting. Thanks guys!

My car had been lightly scraped on the wing whilst parked at home, unfortunately, I didn't see who did it, nor were any details left. I visited Reigate Auto Refinishing who gave a quote and booked me in. Whilst discussing the work, Dave mentioned about re-alligning the panels. I pointed out that the vehicle had slightly pressed the wing in and asked if that would be sorted too. Upon collecting my car, I noticed that the alignment wasn't done, I was advised there was a lot of damage underneath due to a previous knock and without replacing all the brackets, that's the best they could do, this makes sense. However, I was a bit disappointed that the crease in the wing hadn't been removed, I was told this was also due to the brackets underneath, I'm not totally convinced about this, visually, I find this irritating. If it weren't for that, I'd be happy to give five stars.

EDIT: I understand that there's damage underneath, this would make sense that it would then be difficult to re-allign with the bonnet and other wing. As the crease isn't a major bit, I had hoped this could have been removed. Whilst I appreciate the additional bit being done, I didn't get charged as I did specifically ask for this not to be done. I didn't want it done because of my budget, so it was a bit of a shock and I had to advise you that I can't afford the additional work which you kindly honoured.

Although disappointed about the crease, I am happy to recommend to others and return.

Dave did an excellent job on our BMW 3 Series!…. Back door panel, front door edge and front side Spoiler.. Car looks like new again! Dropped off Monday picked up Wednesday... Being silver it is not an easy match but Dave worked his magic.. We waited some weeks on booking in but we’ll worth the wait and so glad we did…Dave is a truly professional gentleman… Good luck Dave.

The team at Reigate Auto Refinishing have helped me out a couple of time with my car and both times I have been really impressed with the quality of the service. Even though both jobs were small that was no issue for them. Will defo go back if I need work done on my car in the future.

I've brought various cars and trucks to Dave at Reigate Auto Refinishing for well over a decade. The quality of finish that he and his team produce is absolutely outstanding. More importantly, the underlying attention to detail in the repair of panels, hidden clips and trim fixings, and overall prep work is what makes Reigate Auto Refinishing one of the best repair centres that I am aware of. They will take the time to repair bodywork and trims as close to an OEM standard as is feasible. This means that any repairs are made to last and the painted finish is arguably at times superior to that from the original factory.

Dave and his team did an amazing job in super fast time on a dent and paint scratch in just a day. Highly recommend them to anyone!
