Halfords - Harlow

The Harlow store seemed short on staff, so wait times were a little longer than you would normally expect. I was served by Amy who was very knowledgeable and helpful, she had a cool head on her shoulders and was coping well with the demanding situation of inpatient people who didn’t want to wait their turn, she showed excellent customer service skills. And yes I would definitely recommend this Halfords store.

We developed a problem with our on board camera which we had purchased from Halfords at Harlow a few years ago. We were looked after quickly and efficiently by Kate, who was knowledgeable, most helpful and knows her stuff!! After a few minutes, our camera was sorted and we were on our way. Purchased battery and fitting service. Young gentleman arrived (sorry I didn't catch his name) earlier than expected, checked everything, was friendly and professional. Was advised that battery was not needed, got a refund with no issues. Fantastic service.

Really lovely girl fixed my car for me. Super friendly and easy to get on with and was super quick. Everyone who I came into contact with that worked in the store was really kind and helpful!

Took a mini to have the rear light bulbs replaced. Bought the bulbs and paid the installation fee and was told there was a one hour wait. The one hour passed and a guy appeared looked in the boot and said not done one of these before and cannot see how to get in so called his colleague. His colleague then said this is a garage job as access needs panels removed. Got my refund for the installation and left with the bulbs. Got home and You tubed how you do it and did it myself within 10 minutes. Halfords, train your staff better if you are going to offer this service.

Needed to buy a battery for my son.

All the staff around were extremely friendly & helpful.

It was quite a costly purchase but the staff being so professional softened the blow 🤣

Without asking one of the team kindly offered to carry the battery to my car which was a great help as it was very heavy.

Had two headlamps fitted. Very fast service and the fitter knew exactly which bulbs to use (my car is a transition year between models, so the database is wrong).
£9 for sixty seconds work seems steep, but remember we're paying for the fact that they can fit them so quickly, rather than us spending half-an-hour skinning our knuckles.
