Went to Halfords Brixton this morning to get a new battery for my car. The lady at the till there was very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful.

She helped me pick the correct battery jump starter and battery for my vehicle and arranged to have it fitted by the technician. The experience was positive. Arrived at the agreed time and was seen and had the battery fitted within about 15.

Unfortunately I had another issue that had caused the need for the new battery, but again the technicians helped figure what the issue was and told me how to go about getting it done.

Thanks again to Halfords and their staff. This is about my third time using this business. All times have been good experiences.

I had been having an issue completing an order on the Halfords website, with a bike accessory item incorrectly being listed out of stock. The Brixton store made an effort to call me up to let me know where I could collect the item. The team, and Dorian in particular, were helpful, knowledgeable and friendly, tracking down the missing item in the store and helping me complete my order - providing useful advice and anticipating a few potential issues with subsequent collection of another item.

I've been here for many many years since I bought my bike from here and before. I've always used their services unless not possible. So I made two visits to the place today the first time around 14.30 I was told that the technician wasn't in and that they are back at 4 so that's when I got back there at 16:30 I left at 17:00 just to be told that we don't have the wheel in stock and also that they would have to remove the entire front section of my bike, which would cost a total £160 whole thing based on health and safety (fair enough). What I find annoying is the amount of time it took for me to just find out this information. Granted the guy that served me was very conscientious and very good at his job I appreciate his customer service skills and everyone else on the floor as well, I just don't think it's appropriate for anyone to be waiting that long for some information especially as they are aware of what and why am there. I feel like I'm not going to be using their services again. which is a shame because I was considering purchasing the gold service package among other things.

Bike service is amazing. Really knowledgeable people and extremely helpful. All Halfords I've been to have been brilliant with my bike and this one in Brixton is no exception! Really happy!

I came in for a front headlight bulb change ended up getting a full car check with free join up, Nick my customer service rep was very helpful, he checked my car throughly and I needed engine oil and coolant as well as wiper blades I did not know I was driving unsafe with the oil and coolant so this was very important. Nick was attentive and explained in details what needed to be fixed/changed he was very polite and courteous. I would like to thank Nic and Halfords team for a very pleasant experience on this occasion.

My wife visited the store on Tuesday and Friday this week and she was amazed at how every single person she interacted with (Andrew, Cory and Damian) was polite, friendly, helpful and calm. This has been our general experience consistently in the past few years with this branch: in fact we always come down to Halfords in Brixton to buy our bikes or get them serviced, as we know we will be treated nicely and they also offer very competitive prices... We were also impressed by the speed of the service: we thought she would have to wait a couple of weeks before it would be ready (we ordered a gold service and we paid exactly what we were quoted, no unpleasant surprises)!
Thank you for making the keeping of our bikes safe and in working order so easy, we cannot recall the last time we have been served in such a delightful way by every single member of a shop team apart from at Halfords in Brixton, so well done everyone!

Terrible service. Item ordered online, for collection at Brixton store. Not there when went to collect - unable to give a reason. Offered a gift voucher as didn't have card with me to refund to it! Accepted cash instead. Later received eReceipt for £0 and then, to add insult to injury, an email to confirm my order had been cancelled! Person in the queue behind me had almost identical story. What's going on at this store? Won't be shopping here again.

We dropped our car off for the roof bar fitting service and received a parking fine for overstaying the maximum time limit even though the service took longer and our car wasn't even in the car park (it was in the workshop). We contacted customer services to ask for a refund but was told that they are unable to offer any reimbursement. Be warned!
