I ordered a car seat online for collection for ease and came to collect it. I met two people at the check out area and I Was told to go to the bike collection area which clearly had that written on the sign. The guy there was busy fixing a bike so I came back to reception and told them that he's busy so they can help me. I was sent back to the other guy and was told to be patient! I waited for the guy to finish repairing the bike which took about 20 mins and then eventually he told me that he doesn't deal with orders! At this point I was fuming and went back to the front desk. Then finally the guy said "I guess I'll go find it". Like he couldn't have done that in the first place. My experience here was appalling and I won't recommend this store to anybody!

Really impressed by the service here. After purchasing online and organising a time slot, Sam and Oliver organised and fitted roof bars and a roof box to my car. They were professional, informative and a pleasure to deal with. Plus Sam gave me an estimated time to come back after the work was done and was pretty much bang on the money so I didn't have to wait around. Very pleased.

Visited the store early this morning in a right state and left knowing my day will just get better from here. A big thank you to Hamad (I hope I remembered 😅) for his outstanding customer service especially in the stressful times we are currently living in. He was amazing and went above and beyond to help me! Hamad 100% needs a pay rise! I bought a noco boost plus which Hamad recommended and I would definitely recommend this product. I can't thank this man enough!

Had an appalling time at Halfords Catford in July - staff took 5 hours to ascertain that the roof bars and box they recommended to me would not in fact fit my car, then immediately in the post they issued me with a parking charge because I exceeded the ‘two hour parking limit’ - despite being parked in their workshop area the entire time, and the fact I had left my keys with them to carry out the pre-booked works. Managed to successfully contest the charge after spending lots of admin time, putting together a written defence and sending documents of proof (phone records, receipts). Unlikely I will book any service there again.

Delightful staff but not enough.
Computer system seemed to be archaic, clunky and slow. Customers hanging around waiting.
I tried on line first but failed.
Also tried contacting the store and failed so decided to go in person then:
Plenty of effort put into making the store look impressive.
I repeat the staff were lovely

A couple of months ago Brett and Harley stayed overtime in order to replaced the corroded brakes from my catering van.
In another occasion Harley refunded me without an issue the discount that I was supposed to get for being a Premium Motoring Club Member. We'll see you soon for my MOT.

I am writing this review on behalf of my mother Dina who visited Halford - Catford last weekend. As an essential worker, she arrived at work early Sunday morning last weekend, only to find she was unable to put her two front seat windows down. Perhaps due to the snow, the cold / ice, it had affected the electronics of the car door. Luckily, she was able to leave her team which as an essential worker / Nurse, she hated she had to. She began to find a company or mechanic that could help her. Unfortunately, as this happened on a Sunday, not too many were open. She approached Halford - Catford reception eager to find out if anyone could assist her, and luckily two outstanding Halford - Catford staff members by the name of Brandon and Martin, delegated their existing tasks to begin to focus on my mother's car emergency. Their knowledge of cars, mechanics and steadfast approach to work, ensured that within a couple of hours, both of my mothers front door windows were back up, and she was able to drive back to work and continue her shift. They were kind, polite and professional. Brandon and Martin are an asset to Halford - Catford and a reminder that in spite of how negative the world can often be, there are still good people who inhabit it, and who are willing to sacrifice their time, to ensure a positive outcome for a stranger. My mother informed me that Brandon and Martin would continuously check up on her at the reception and reassure her that they will fix her windows. On behalf of my mother and our family, thank you Brandon and Martin for your outstanding customer service. Have the happiest of holidays and hopefully a much needed rest.
