Amazing staff, always sparking conversation. Went in to get my bike fixed of what ealing cycles quoted to be £150, but turns out it could be done for free. Recommend this place and thanks to the ace worker who helped me today.

Totally recommend this shop. Because as a 12 yr old student some will understand that its hard to rack up a lot of your own money. The guy told on the phone that punctures on both types will cost me £25 but he did for me for £20 not because I asked him. I had the full £25 in my pocket ready to pay him but he said he might as well do it for twenty. Also he gave me tips about bmxing. Hopefully I will buy more things from them.

Staff was very helpful, welcoming, efficient and friendly. James took the time to patiently show me how to change the inner tube of my road bike which was so appreciated. His knowledge and training was so useful and went the extra mile. Thank you so much for your hard work!

I went in with two tires that were not fully pumped up. James showed me to the free pump and then took a look at what was the issue with my bike. He was very knowledgeable on what the issue was and recommended changing my tube. Despite initially thinking that it would take more than a day, James was able to fix the tire right away and squeeze in a time slot for me.I would highly recommend this store.

Bought a bicycle for an employee. She was happy with it. When her front wheel was stolen and she came in to buy a new wheel, Halfords employees fitted a thinner wheel and told her the original wheel was no longer available. She complained. They told her she was 'fancy' and there was no problem with the wheel. When she returned later and asked to speak with the manager because the new wheel was not correct and her brakes were not working properly, they said again she was fancy but suddenly found the correct wheel. No apology was offered.

Unfortunately can't say I would recommend this store for repairs.

I took my rather old bike in for a repair and was told what type of wheel to order (as their delivery would take a while)

When it was in getting fixed, they rang me saying it was the wrong wheel nut they could still fix it.
However, when I rang to see when I could collect and described what bike it was, they replied "Oh that old diddy bike?" Ok yea my bike is old, I know that, but there's no need to insult it!

After I picked up up, I realised on the way home that the back brake wasn't working. When I returned within a few minutes the staff said "Oh it was just in for a back wheel repair." I'm pretty sure when they do a car MOT, they assess overall what aspects need repaired to make it roadworthy!

They thankfully just fixed it without an additional fee but said they couldn't do much more as it was rusted, so the back brakes don't work as well anymore. Honestly, they have very unenthusiastic repair staff, but a couple of them were lovely when I left it in. Can't recommend unfortunately.
