Halfords - Orpington

Very rude and racist employees, tell me wait behind while Im the first one waiting in the que. will never shop at this store again!!! If you need visit Halfords got to sevenoaks/Tonbridge store instead.

I have to compliment Michael who works in the bicycle dept. He helped my 5 year old daughter choose her first bike without stabilisors. He was very patient and helpful throughout. We were there for an hour almost but he kept smiling and offering advice.
We purchased a new bike with various accessories too. Everything was ready on time with good communication along the way. Excellent service in all.

Excellent experience. Got my car’s MOT and annual service done through them. Dealt with Andy who was a very pleasant personality. They fixed some light defects without charge and passed MOT. They did have good number of recommendations, although it was communicated in a very non pushy way (at least what I felt). All the recommendations seemed reasonable, although I picked only few. Will surely use their services again when needed.

My right headlight was dead, so I stopped at Halfords after work. It was dark, it was cold and I was tired, so less than 45 minutes to closing I asked them to swap out my headlights for me (my left was kinda dim too so I thought may as well).

They did it without complaint and with a friendly attitude, despite the cold and my fiddly headlight fittings.

This isn't the first time I have been to this Halfords for my car or bike, they always tend to be helpful and friendly, and one staff member even showed me how to swap out the gears on my bike (peddle bike, not motorbike). They are fast becoming a shop I feel like I can rely on.

Went to get car wing mirror fixed half and hour before closing. Staff were very attentive and helpful. They gave me a temporary fix and ordered and fitted the new part in the same week.

Matt from the store has helped me on 2 occasions. His can-do approach and willingness to genuinely help with his positive approach is a stand-out feature for me. This is the type of employee any service company would love to have. When you return to the store he is the type of guy you want to request again. Well done Matt!

Took my bike to be checked and made road safe after being in my garage for many years! Did have to queue for 30 mins before them even looking at my bike, but eventually it was checked by Michael a few things fixed new chain too which cost £37.00....haven't actually rode yet as weather suddenly changed. But I was very happy with the service at Orpington store!

My go to place for car accessories, tech and detailing products. And aso for getting Wipers replaced each year. Price is always the best value, good deals from time to time. Staff is helpful. I recently got front and back dashcams supplied and fitted from them, and the installer did it with expertise
