Darkside Developments

I have been ordering a couple of standard performance parts for a couple of year. This year I decided to take it up a notch. So I went with full Darkside turbo kit(GTB2260), intercooler kit, bigger injectors, Fast road camshaft, intake manifold, clutch kit with DMF, and fasteners for engine.

During the whole process from planing, ordering and the build, darkside was very quick to answer and they gave me the help I needed.

The tuner who was going to tune my car backed off our deal, so darkside had to tune it remotely. I was a little bit skeptical, but my god. The car is a blast to drive. Darkside tailored the tune as I wanted, and they took the time needed to meet my needs.

The end result is an engine with close to OEM drivability, low end torque, A LOT of mid and high end torque and power. The only range that I lost torque over OEM is around 1000-1250rpm.

I'm extremely happy and the car is very fun to drive as a daily driver.

Darkside is on the more expensive side, but the service and the quality on the parts is well worth it.

I needed advice and fuel injectors, DD were happy to help, replied to me straight away and when I placed my order, it had arrived within 24 hours. The parts I ordered were also in extremely good condition. They haven’t been fitted yet but they guys at my garage thought they looked great so I’m really happy with everything so far. DD were recommended to me by someone who won’t use anything but the best on his vehicle and I won’t hesitate to recommend them myself!

one of the few in all europe to be able to immediately provide a complete kit of cams for my v10 vw. there have also been some small problems with some pieces for which they have resolved at their expense, what can I say? fantastic and of undoubted quality! photos during my reassembly:

Cannot rate this team enough. I’ve suffered an annoying judder from my flywheel since a Sedox map was added to my T6. The level of knowledge and professionalism extended by the Darkside team is second to none and made for a very reassuring visit. From the presentation of the reception area, their own vehicles, uniform etc the place is worthy of more stars. Drove the vehicle home and it’s completely transformed it. Highly recommend!!

Took my Touran 2.0 Tdi for a remap after some work we had done to it. The customer service from start to finish was top notch. The remapping took almost 9 hours with dyno & road runs and data logging. They are extremely thorough and pointed out a few issues with the previous (generic) map I had done elsewhere. All I can say is I wont be taking any future diesels I get elsewhere. I got a safe and tested map custom to my car with the Bhp and LB/ft figures I asked for. Car drives smooth and pulls just nicely. Took my Q7 here as needed the TLC it needs, fantastic bunch of people,got the job done, thank you. will be back for some more upgrades In time👌

Came across this company by accident looking for an EGR delete kit for my US spec 328d. Ended up getting that, and the DS intercooler. The EGR delete went in with zero issues, and the intercooler had PERFECT fitment. 2 mins and the intercooler was in and hooked up. And the quality is all there.

Also to note, I live in the States, and even during the holiday shipping chaos, covid, and National shipping delays the US had, it still arrived in less time than parts ordered from Dallas which is only a few hrs away!

And the customer service I received, was excellent. They were willing to do the footwork to research, and then to guide me a bit through my build, always replying within a couple hrs. I know of a few companies here in the states that could take notes from these guys. Keep up the good work fellas!

Amazing work and amazing customer service, I first shopped around my area for a new custom exhaust and wasn't satisfied with anyone, ended up choosing these guys (well worth the travel) and they made every other garage/business look amateur that I inquired with. Also had my Caddy remapped after having the exhaust fitted, the guys checked everything over before doing anything, they truly go above and beyond, and I'm already planning on more work being done by these guys!
