Halfords - Guildford

They Recommended an adhesive which was completely ineffective for the job, 3 staff visible in the whole massive shop. I went to make a purchase upstairs queued for 10 minutes with 2 people in front of me only to be told it would be quicker to go downstairs and join a long queue down there. I nearly left without purchasing. Halfords minimum staff policy makes for a miserable customer experience, I will shop elsewhere online in future.

Visited Halfords on the way to my MOT when my car suddenly pinged up with a light warning. Carlo at the Guildford lady mead branch was brilliant and also told me about a free check he could do to make sure everything would be ready for my MOT . He fitted the new bulbs and with help from his team checked my car over. They also told me about the free motoring club, and I saved £5 with the welcome offer. Really great service, thanks guys.

Just fabulous thank you. Went in for some oil and a fuse, the team were amazing! Showed me how to top up my oil and then checked my entire car. It was noted tyre pressure was low which i would have never of known. I got more then i could have ever expected!

I went to pick up a roof box today which turned out to have been manufactured incorrectly and so couldn’t be fit onto the car. 2 members of staff were incredibly helpful in rectifying the issue and both went home long after their shift had finished to make sure we had something fitted correctly. I am hugely grateful for all of their time and help today.

An excellent, first class and very highly professional service. I have been hugely impressed by the level of customer service provided by the staff at Halfords in Guildford. The first-line front-desk staff at the counter responded to my request by locating the person best placed to help me and to answer my questions: My questions concerned the specific qualities of car-seats for children aged 9 months and above. I was then given a thorough and informed briefing from a young man called Luke who not only knew the relevant details but also demonstrated the various features of the specific car-seat in which I became most interested. Then, when I came to collect the seats on Saturday 26 November I was again treated with courtesy and a great willingness to help by a young woman at the 'arrival' front-desk and then both she and Luke were able, immediately, to locate the seats. Luke then took the take the time to demonstrate - with great skill - how to fit the seats in my car. I would like to thank Halfords for their exemplary customer service, commend the 'front desk' staff and underline, of course, Luke - whose professionalism and manner was outstanding.

What an amazing service! I’ve got my rear break lights fixed - Chris did a fantastic job of it as the lights cover had never been taken off before and we are family fixed. I could never have physically done that myself! Extremely grateful for the help, excellent value and pleasant staff!

Dropped in as my bike was due a service, but had been warned they were fully booked. I was happy to leave until they had time, Jon offered to give it a quick look hearing it was in need of some TLC. He quickly spotted a couple of issues and fixed them in 5 mins and it was such a different ride home. Thank you, great service, very friendly and flexible to help me out.

Order an item to get fitted in this branch in Guildford, after checking in on the tills, then put onto a queue to wait for fitting to be done, 45 min wait after, been told by one of the mechanic that they don't fit the item i have ordered in their store.why has no one told me about this beforehand? Over all spent over 1hr for nothing, complete waste of time.

The mechanic then asked me to show him the email, and receipt, he then took my phone from my hand without asking for my consent, took my phone into the store, this is very unprofessional.
