Having read some of the reviews I was extremely nervous about ordering my towbar from here. However after speaking with Kate who reassured me somewhat, I ask her to contact me when she had the item in stock & I would then order one. I also planned on purchasing my item with my credit card just in case. She was absolutely true to her word, contacted me accordingly, and I went ahead and hesitantly ordered it.
GOOD NEWS It arrived on my doorstep 3 days later.

I understand that some people may not have had the excellent service that I have, but I can only score it on my own personal experience.
I will definitely use them again.

Ordered some auto smart wax on the 20/06/2019, been sending emails and trying to phone the company for a delivery date. however it’s all falling on deaf ears!!!
If I ever receive my item I will never use this company again and get my bank to get my money back!

UPDATE: After I took legal action against the seller and informed him by email, the seller returned my money.
DO NOT PAY, DO NOT ORDER! Robbers, rogues, fraudsters! I ordered the product online, I never received it, my e-mails are not answered. They are simply rogue, they steal money, I never get a product. I have filed this company with the European Consumer Centres. I ask everyone who has been tricked by the dealer to take the necessary steps to stop the scams!

I have always chosen to support the smaller, independent companies, rather than use the main dealers when it comes to buying parts and servicing. So i had high hopes when i placed my first couple of orders with Smart stuff.

Took over 6 weeks to get my parts, after constantly chasing them up. Emails don't get answered, phone calls never get returned and it seems like they just operate at their own speed, in their own little bubble. The most frustrating buying experience I have ever had in 15 years of driving and fixing cars.

When I did eventually get my parts, there were 4 screws missing. I have decided to cut my losses and order those from Mercedes, rather than chase them up and have another potential 6 weeks of frustration!

For what it's worth, the people I dealt with at Smart stuff were always very polite, it's just a shame that their service was so annoyingly slow. I wouldn't buy from them again.

Horrendous company. Parts either don’t show up or take ages to be delivered, the company never responds to emails and don’t have a contact phone number. They’re quick to respond when you open a credit card dispute though, funnily enough…

Avoid.

Ordered from smartstuff online.
The online order was payed for immediately, i even payed 48hr postage.
Item never arrived, i sent three emails several days apart, they didn't even have the decency to email me back. I'm very disappointed.
I'm not sure if this company exists as there is no other means of contact.
One star because that's the lowest it can be scored.

I bought parts which never showed up. They send an email that my order is dispatched without a tracking number on any detail. No ine answer calls or emails very very very bad service do not deal with them

Wish I had read reviews of the place before I ordered.

Item was 'in stock' on the website, paid and got confirmation email. Then an update to processing. Then a week later I ask for an update. Oh, it's coming from the US, we don't actually have the part you paid for, we are just middle men, and it could be up to 6 weeks, but we don't really know, because Covid.

Emailed to ask why it wasn't made clear at checkout that it was a back order item and to cancel the order. I ended up with a rude reply and a supposed cancellation and refund of my order which I haven't received yet (but will be pursuing to the full extent)

Awful company, even worse customer service, how they're still in business is anyone's guess.

Buy direct and cut out these profit-skimming, incompetent middle men.
