Halfords - Netherfield (Nottingham)

Excellent service. Visit was for replacement wiper blades. Found the make/type/size I wanted immediately in the very well laid-out store, asked one of the store staff if it was possible to have them fitted straight away, no problem at all, extremely pleasant gentleman fitted them immediately, so no waiting and no waiting to pay. Also asked about another product I'm thinking of buying and again the gentleman could not have been more helpful in showing me and explaining the range which Halford stocks. Absolutely first class service in every respect!

Years ago Halfords used to be the go to store for everything car/bike related.
Unfortunately Halfords earns it's well known moniker
' Hellfrauds'.
It has never sought to adjust its prices realistically.
It's nothing to do with the rising costs of living,but Hellfrauds has always been excessively expensive.im sure they would be able to pull out a few products at reduced or competitive prices but this is a marketing tool to get you in the door.
Most products are over priced for what they should be retailing at, forcing more and more people to shop online.
Excuses like covering overheads and paying staff doesn't wash anymore as their profit margins are high.
I'm sure someone from Halfords will come on here and say their prices are competitive or they have a large range of quality products available giving the Customer a great shopping experience or such like ..
I'll give you a typical example.
Gorrila glue 15g at Hellfrauds £9..yes £9.
At Wilkingsons up the road in Carlton square it's £5.. normally £6.
It's not just the odd product like that,it's most products and consumers are sick of it.
Hight street stores are creating their own extinction. The only reason Halfords is still trading is because it is a multiple faceted company.
It you don't want to pay silly prices I'm afraid you'll have to shop online or visit an independent motor spares shop or other store with realistic prices.

So having had an extremely negative experience in a different Halfords branch I came here out of pure desperation. I am so glad I did, the staff at the neitherfield branch where very helpful, patient, explained everything for me and answered all my questions, got what I needed and more. the gentleman that served me on Friday was an absolute asset. Faith restored in the Halfords brand.

Really excellent choice of child seats at a wide range of prices. Amazing customer service, Johnny was fantastic. Great demonstration of the seat and how to fit it and an excellent tutorial. Johnny made sure I knew how to do it myself.

Visited Halfords Netherfield twice to research my new bike purchase. Was helped by Sophie both times; she was so patient and helpful. Answered all my stupid questions without once making me feel that they were stupid!
Would thoroughly recommend, without hesitation 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟.

What an absolute joke . 6 journey's to buy a replacement wheel for a bike. The first time we actually took the wheel with us that we wanted got home & it's the wrong wheel. Returned the next day & ordered the replacment, picked it up & suprise still the wrong wheel i retured it with a photo of the bike & photo of the size ect of the wheel we needed to be told that was the correct one . Had to return again with my husband to be told it is the wrong wheel & they ordered the third one . Got it home today & they have given us the wrong one AGAiN !!!!

I wanted to choose a bike to communte to work and i didnt have and information about bikes and models Cris Holman i think was his name was very Helpful literally spend more than an Hour explaining everything to me and he helped me to choose the best bike would definitely recommend halfords they have the best staff

My wife and I recently purchased two cycles from this branch of Halfords. Unfortunately we had experienced numerous issues with the bikes over the period of only a few days having to return them on two separate occasions.

So you're probably wondering why we're giving them five stars then, well it's purely down to their customer service.
Kirsty was the particular member of staff that handled our complaints and we found her polite, professional and very helpful from start to finish. Not only did the whole experience not leave us with the bitter taste of dissatisfaction but we ended up purchasing two more bikes from them, just goes to show what a good customer service gets you .
Fingers crossed these will be less trouble and if they are, we know that Kirsty will look after us.
