Excellent mechanics who provide good service. I have been going there for over 20 years. I would highly recommend this garage.

Used them for years for MOTs but wont go there again, they are always reluctant to give a quote for any work they do. An example was my car failed its MOT due to needing new tyres, I was quoted 140 for the new tyres. I was unable to do the work straight away as the locking wheel nut was lost, I ordered a new one which took 12 days to get to me.I called them to confirm the tyre price again they confirmed 140, (this was after paying 150.00 with them for the original MOT and an oil and windscreen wiper change). So when it was tine to pay I am charged an additional MOT retest and also VAT and fitting for the tyres. I queried this but could not get a response. Neither additional VAT, fitting or me having to pay for the MOT again was mentioned by the mechanic. It is not right that you can overcharge and get away with it. If you do use them get them to always give a final price otherwise I recommend going elsewhere

What a refreshing change...... an honest reliable and professional garage. I have used J&M motors twice now for both MOT’s and servicing. Each time, I have been impressed with the detailed explanation I have been given and they haven’t tried to find extra faults with my car unlike other garages I have been to. Will definitely be going back and I am genuinely happy to recommend J&M.
