Excellent garage with speedy service and good communication.

Diagnosed my issue, called to advise what needed to be done and how long it would take. Then fixed the problem the very next day.

So impressed with them that I had additional work done, whilst the car was there.

Seriously poor experience with these guys. Took the car in to be looked at, already having a rough idea what was wrong as had been checked previously at another garage. Gave them all the information and got them to check. No definitive diagnostics from them after 2 days and had to call them to find out what was going on. Was told they'd tried to contact us. First lie, no voicemail or missed call was received. Given chapter and verse on what was wrong and almost seemed to be discouraged from having the work done. Told them we'd make a decision on what to do. Took us overnight to decide we wanted them to check the car further. Called and told them and was told there was a week lead time on getting it booked in, fine. Decided to leave it there as they said they would do what they could when they could in the meantime. Called them a week later to check on progress. Fobbed off by the far from helpful receptionist. Told they would call us the next day to let us know. Half 5 the following day still no phone call. Called them was told nothing had been done on the car whatsoever. They had the car more than 2 weeks and in that time they did precisely nothing. No phone calls returned and basically BS fed to us at every opportunity. Made the decision to take the car and take our business elsewhere. Therefore cannot recommend this garage at all. They basically didn't want to carry out the work because it wasn't an easy job and clearly prioritised other jobs and other customers over us for whatever reason. Wouldn't give these guys my business ever.

Full service and MOT. Failed on emissions . They advised I take it to Volvo main dealer for engine with only 70,000 miles. How feeble, from a garage that advertises diagnostics. Took it to another garage 1 mile away the next morning and passed the emissions test without any work. Battery cover left unsecured. Accumulated 15 miles on the trip meter that cannot be accounted for. Have to say your card details in reception with other people there to pay, okay for virus protection but shame the receptionist thought she was above wearing a mask. You just lost a repeat customer.

Been using Ray a very long time. Always keeps you up to date, has a wealth of knowledge and is fairly priced. I wouldn't go anywhere else

I had my car booked in for an MOT at 10am on Thursday, arrived at 9.50 and was told they were running a bit late. I went for a walk and returned at 11.10 and my car was still sitting there, I was told to sit down as my car would be going in in 5 minutes, at 11.30 there was still no movement on my car and no explanation as to what was happening, asked for my car keys back and left very disappointed. I've been using this garage for years with no problems but this was very unprofessional and I wont be going back again.

Good value, honest and Ray will always offer extra information about any problems found.
