Myself and my partner have used this garage multiple times over the last few years. They are always happy to help and very kind and friendly. They are always busy, which shows how good they are, but will try their best to accommodate you if they can. Their prices are fantastic and the quality is outstanding. I cannot recommend them enough and in fact do to everyone I know!

Booked my Mazda in for a service and MOT and made mention that the hand brake needed adjusting due to parking on a hill at home. The service was done and got home to find that the hand brake was still the same. So we booked it in and took it back. The hand brake didn’t seem to be much different afterwards. Since then the care has done about 3K mile. Yesterday, we found the car had rolled down the drive and crashed into the house. The repair bill is now going to cost between £1000 to £2000 to sort out the damage done.
So thanks Warrington's for your attention to detail. Yes they were good in the past but now past their sell-by date.

Update:
The answer to my email from Warrington's was “We saw the vehicle in August 2021 for Service and MOT. The vehicle passed its MOT cleanly with no advisories,……….at the same time you asked us to adjust the handbrake. The handbrake was working efficiently. if there was any difficulty with the handbrake or if you felt that the vehicle was not holding as it should, we would have willing looked at the vehicle.”

Update: Clearly Warrington's feel they are not to blame in any way. They conveniently overlook the point that they were told that the car sits on a 1:16 slop and that the handbrake they were asked to look at, was not even touched on the FIRST request. We had to take the car back and have it adjusted while we waited but it was still on the last notch. So much so, that when my wife went to drive off, she had to get the mechanic to release it so she could drive it away. There is something wrong when you have to have the strength of a gorilla to park the car on a hill. Warrington's are ignorant of the fact that handbrakes need to be fit for a 1:16 slop because, after driving around the brakes get hot. Yes a handbrake can be fully on, on hot brakes but as they cool down, there is a chance that the brake will loosen with metal contraction from cooling. That is why its not good practice to have it on the LAST notch.

Sadly, there have been incidents before where wheel nuts were seriously overtightened and they were forgiven. We shall not forgive them this time.

Very helpful and squeezed in looking at my car when most garages said they wouldn't. Came AA recommended too

They used to be very good, now I found the lady I spoke to rather rude. This was based on the fact that I had not taken my car to them for four years, although my Father used to rate them highly, when Ray the original owner was in charge.

Although my car problem was very serious and would have needed a new head gasket and the car was subsequently scrapped, it would have been nice to have been offered recovery on which they would have been paid and at least a quote for repair

The repair as it turned out would have cost about £2000 (ish) which is why it was scrapped. The thing is while that is easily affordable for me, the company seemed unwilling to help in any way.

Based on their precious reputation I would have happily paid £2000 for the repair plus extra for recovery on top, as it was my Father's car and was more of sentimental value than anything else.

It seems you cannot even offer folk work these days, which is terribly sad. A trained mechanic would have done this within a week.

These dear folk are outstanding. They have gone to great lengths to help sort an issue with my car which has proved tricky to identify. They charged nothing for their time having gone on two road trips, had the car in the workshop and chatted to me with feedback. Very impressed. They now service my wife's car rather than the Ford main dealer - very reasonable price and great service. Highly impressed!

Thanks to Jason and Rob.
