Great garage run by lovely people who really know their stuff. Went in for a service and MOT, mentioned we'd been having trouble with the car stalling, and another garage hadn't been able to work out what the problem was. They troubleshooted and fixed the problem for £25! Would definitely recommend them to others. Thanks so much.

I left work early for a change, 5 mins down the road I discovered my tyre was flat. I parked up and went to Douglas Compton. They were closed but offered to put air in the tyre, when that didn't work, they offered to change the tyre using my spare. My spare wasn't a spare as it didn't fit (Ladies always check your spare). They put air into the original tyre and had to bang the metal bit into submission to stop the air coming out. I was so emotional that these men took the time to help a lady out. Who said chivalry was dead! No, it's alive and kicking at Douglas Compton. Thank you all for going out of your way to help me get home safely.

My Mercedes GLE's motorised tailgate strut had failed, almost inevitably, just outside of the manufacturer's warranty period.

I knew I was off to a good start when the garage actually phoned me back in response to a voicemail query that I had left.

The repair was carried out with no fuss and with only the minimal delay involved with getting in a specialised part.

The quality of the repair was excellent and the price was fair.

Outstanding customer service, both from reception (Jo) and from the technical side (Alan).
