Really good service can not recommend highly enough was willing to help when a lot of other garages wernt interested in helping. Work was completed promptly and even a follow up call a week later to make sure we haven't had any issues.

Needed a cylinder head for our motorhome, these people came recommended by repair garage. The reception staff were very helpful in supplying an exchange refurbished head (ready to fit) and went the extra mile by sourcing and supplying a comprehensive kit.
The whole kit was put together in less than 24 hrs and is now in the garage getting sorted.
Thanks to all the staff involved, polite and even carried it to my car. 5 stars.

Engines been leaking for as long as I've had van back from these, not only that but he said he changed clutch even though i didn't ask him to, and charged me for it, EVEN THOUGH THE CLUTCH HASN'T BEEN CHAINED, clutch was slipping slightly that's how I know it wasn't changed, BECAUSE IT STILL IS... Avoid this conman at all costs. HE ALSO CALLS HIGHLY AND TRIES TO GET THEM TO DELETE ANY BAD REVIEWS... Tells them it was a previous employer so that they do it. AVOID as he will try to screw you out of your hard earned money.

We have now stopped using Cleasby altogether. They basically wriggle out of everything. An engine rebuilt was initially done and to be fair the place we bought the vehicle from wanted the cheapest job possible. We got the vehicle returned and the clutch went and again to be fair they where told not to replace it by the garage we bought the vehicle from so we had a new clutch put in else where as the engine replacement was not the best. The vehicle broke down again we sent it to Cleasby they diagnosed a turbo this was replaced again we ran the vehicle and it broke down returned to Cleasby we where told DPF filter so we asked it to be replaced on picking the vehicle up we were told they had totally cleaned DPF at a cost of around £800 we where not happy. We ran the vehicle for approx 2 mths it broke down again recovered at our cost to a different garage where it was diagnosed with needing a replacement engine, as the DPF filter was clogged again and also the Turbo was blown, Turbo was sent to Cleasby they said basically the DPF filter caused it as it was blocked we said they had cleaned it previously and where then told something in the engine caused this, again they had replaced it, because we did not take the vehicle back to them they could do nothing. GET THE PICTURE? if we had sent the vehicle back to them in the first place we would have been in the same position but again having to get the vehicle repaired by shoddy workmanship. At least we now have a fully repaired vehicle by a local garage. So you pay your money you take your choice.
I am now thinking of going to trading standards but I assume this will be a case of our word against there’s.

My van had a cracked cylinder head gasket and was taken to Cleasby's by my local garage who couldn't do the necessary repairs.
From start to finish I was kept appraised of the timescale, which was longer because of covid isolation issues. Cleasby's have excellent service and customer interaction. I was given an estimate for the work needed on my van and gave the go ahead.
When the work was finished the price came in lower as Cleasby's had managed to source a major part from another supplier which saved quite a bit of money.
5 stars all around.
Thank you for getting my van back in one piece.

Bad points: Had my car for six months. Then hassled me.to get it out once it was fixed. They used quarter of a tank of fuel testing the car so ran out of.fuel in the courtyard and were not willing to replace any fuel. Was told £60 to fix my car then got a bill for £240 without a courtesy call asking to go ahead with the works. when I tried to drive my car it stood for that long they Discharged my new battery that I had replaced 5 days before they took my car. But got fobbed off and told these things happen and were not willing to replace the battery. They Used the starter charger multiple times to give the car a single charge on my car to get it running temporarily. Then told you can take it and drive it home now but don't stall the car or let it Idol because it will conk out and you'll be stuck driving it home.

GOOD POINTS: they had a driver pick me up and fill a Jerry can to fuel my car at my expense. Had a driver pick me up and brought me to garage to drive it back due to having my car 6 months car seems to be fixed but if I let the engine Idol the car slowly conks out.
