Outstanding service. Dave is a stand up guy, honest, understanding and will go out of his way for you. Excellent!
I will start back in March this year when I broke down on the A38, I phone this company on the Monday as they was recommended to me as Dave is meant to be Ford specialist. Unfortunately my Ford Focus was over heating, Dave at the start was very helpful and offered to get my car for me and bring it down from the service station where my vehicle was left, Dave did explain that it is a process of elimination and we have to start with the basic to get to the route of the cause, I was happy with that I did explain to Dave that I have had someone else look at this issues before as my car had been overheating few months ago and I did say to Dave I have had the thermostat replaced on the vehicle twice, Dave did explained that it is a process of elimination to get to the root of the cause I was happy to let Dave try and get to the button of my issue Dave put a new water pump cambelt and radiator into the vehicle from my understanding Ford parts, but for some reason there was a issue with one of the radiators not fitting correctly in the car, so 4 weeks into the job I was ringing up the garage for update on to the likelihood of getting my car back, I was unable to get hold of anyone at the garage so had to get hold of Dave on the mobile, was told that under the government guidelines he is closed and under no circumstances will he be going to the garage as he is closed. I was never offered the opportunity to remove my car prior to the closure of this garage, I did try to explain that I need my car to get me to work and back and I work for the NHS as key worker I did ask him if he could open the garage so I could move it to somebody who can fix my car, and he said No he did say you will GET your car back but I may be out of Business by the time we get out of lockdown he left with no choice but to wait for him to get back open to finish the work, I waited till the Thursday after they was giving the go ahead to open on Wednesday I took a trip to the garage and asked for update on my car Dave was very rude and didn’t even recognise me and said I have put the second radiator in the vehicle as it’s still overheating, so I paid Dave for work he had done and left with my overheating car I didn’t expect to find a load of new problems at the new garage my lock and wheel nut has been lost and Dave has from my understanding well over charged me for parts that I thought he was Ford specialist would use Ford parts as this is what he told me so £121 price paid for £44 radiator from Europarts, and so on just like to say I be very cautious about using this garage for any work
