Do not send your car to this garage!! They call themselves a range rover specialist... I have been a customer of douglas motors for 2 years and recently had an issue with my RR Sport, they charged me through the roof (as always) for diagnosis and told me I've got to get it recovered and sent to range rover anyway... who would have included this in the cost of repair.

This company is a waste of time and money. Skipping the middle man in future and going straight to the experts!

In reponse: Yes I understand there is a cost to your equiptment however my problem lies with the fact... I was not informed that you could not deal with ev issues at the point of booking in to diagnose and fix my EV VEHICLE. I knew that this was an issue with the hydrid system, this was explained to you multiple times ahead of booking in, you were well aware that I wanted this resolved and gave me no indication that it was something you couldnt deal with. Its a terrible way of doing business, especially with someone who was a fairly loyal customer.

The moral of the story: If you have a land rover from 1973 send it to Douglas Motors. Modern vehicles... leave it to the experts.

Friendly, honest service. They have carried out work on my 14 plate Range Rover and much more work on my 1993 110 defender which will always need work! Always call and inform of all faults and necessary works before carrying it out. Greg and Kyle have always been most informative, upfront and honest. I will always trust them with my Land Rover money pits!

I have spent many thousands of pounds here over the last three years, and until a year ago they were an acceptable - if overpriced business. Now, they are happy to charge £80 plus per hour for labour, and happy also to fit the cheapest of cheap materials/parts. I have had the same job done three times now, as it has caused an MOT failure on my Land Rover two years running. For some reason, they don’t think that the problem is theirs.
Extortionate prices, sub-standard parts, and non-existent customer service. If you’ve got more money than sense then this is definitely the place for you 😊

Took my 2011 Range Rover vogue in for annual service, the service reception staff were very helpful and the cost was reasonable.

Decided to support a local business and tried Douglass Motors instead of the main Land Rover Coventry Dealership for my regular service. When I dropped my LR Discovery 4 off, I asked for the Ecolight to be looked at (as it has been permanently on since purchase). At the time, it was not flagged up that this would be an issue. I received the car back the next day but soon noticed that the warning light was still visible. After several attempts of trying to contact them I eventually spoke to one of the team who told me that fault finding is not part of a normal service and that I would need to book the car in for another visit. He also added that he had told me this when my keys were handed back. This is not what happened as I had specifically asked for the light to be looked at, in addition, there were no notes included in the service report, and if I had been informed of this, I would have asked that they resolve the issue and keep the vehicle for longer. However, when I stated that I was not happy with the service or communication that I had received - there was just silence from the other end of the phone. No apology, not offer to help me - just apathy. If smaller businesses want to survive, surely customer service should be at the forefront

Had the pleasure of meeting the team at the Billing off road show, they done me a very good deal on a ARB Fridge and even put some beer in it for me. Does not get any better than that. Hope to see you all at next years show. Cheers B

Back to its awesome self 700 mile round trip for a family funeral and never missed a beat.
