I was looking for a garage to fix my car nearly 10 years ago when work colleague told me about a place called Dove Garage which used to be on Dove Street but had moved to Milton Street. She was literally making me promise to go there because she didn't want me to get ripped off again by people that didn't know what they were doing. I'm so glad I listened to her because this is without doubt the best garage in Ipswich from my experience and a hidden gem. I've been using them for almost 10 years and have been impressed each time I have used them. When I expect something to be expensive and take a long time to repair it ends up being done on the same day I drop it off and at much less than I expect it to cost. The team are real experts and seem to be able to fix literally any problem on any car I've had, from Fords, to Fiats, MGs and Smart cars. Try them once and you will never go anywhere else they really are that good! You'll probably be persuading your friends and family to go there too! I just checked the reviews and was surprised that there were only 2, which were from 3-4 years ago so thought I would give the low-down on them. I guess when people only shout about things when they have problems with a business, which explains the lack of reviews posted.

Both the guys are friendly and will give you their honest opinion on what's wrong. The prices are good and they only charge you for the work they do with no extras. Strongly recommend this place have used them for over 8 years on all my vehicles

We have been using dove garage for years and they never disappoint. Service is always good and honest, they always make sure to explain whats wrong with your car. May sound strange to some but I've been to many garages where they ignore me in favour of talking to my husband, they have never made me feel uncomfortable or like a woman who wouldn't understand mechanics, if your female you will know what I'm talking about.
