Owner very knowledgeable and totally honest with everyone without exception. Labour charges are low when compared with main dealers. Proprietor always checks with the customer if there is an unexpected or costly issue. Many customers are long-term, which says it all.

Very poor. AVOID Spencers Autos at ALL COST! The owner had my car for more than a month in his garage. After 10h of labour combining a long series of misdiagnosis and unnecessary work (e.g. ECU extracted and sent for a test, purchase of a whole ignition unit) the fault still couldn’t be diagnosed. I was given a bill of £600 and advised to get rid of the car. I went to another garage in Melton Mowbray who diagnosed the problem within an hour and charged £80 to change a relay plug. The car runs as before.
