Today I visited the St Albans’s store. Initially I had really nice sale experience with staff and their service. Unfortunately my satisfaction has massively dropped, when one of the staff told me off about the nappy bag. Instead of using nice tone, she hinted I was doing that on purpose by pointing out there are two paper notices on each bin. To deal with a screaming baby in the change room was already stressful, without notice and logically put nappy bag in the bin which is understandable, specially this is a baby shop. There is no need to be rude like that. Customer experience shouldn’t stop when sale is done, but until customer leaves.

I usually shop in Hitchin store, this is the first time I visit St Albans one. Such disappointing experience, will not visit this branch again.

Terrible customer service. I was browsing with my wife and 8 month old today. Whilst looking at the sale section the customer assistant walked over and rudely interrupted underlining that nothing could be tried on. When I told her I hadn't intended to try anything on she even answered back at me. Guess they lost their customer service during lockdown!!!

Limited stock often out of the sizes we need and the staff are quite rude. I went in to purchase a nursing top, when trying to ask the two members of staff if it was ok for me to try it on they ignored me as they were too busy chatting. After some time I interpreted them politely which they were not happy with and rudely answered. When then paying one of the same members of staff was just very cold and purposely slow.
What a miserable experience, my little one was only 3 weeks old and I will not return, so they have lost the custom of a new mum.

Bad customer services, very rude staff

I have been a loyal customer since my first child was born 7 years ago and have been buying clothes, toys and other stuff in store in St Albans and online for all my three kids. I was very shocked to experience such bad services from a particular staff who refused to tell me her name.

The moment I walked in to the store, I found her very unfriendly. There was no customer in the shop at that time, but she was 'too busy' to greet me while I was really to ask questions.

When I asked whether there was a chair for my 14 month's old to sit down so I could fit a pair of shoes on him, she replied emotionless and said NO. I had no choice but put him on a display shelf which was very low and safe while I was holding him still to get his old shoes off, the woman came and tell me off - I understand she had health and safety concerns but the way how she said it to me and offered little help made me very upset and disappointed.

I left the shop immediately and then I walked back a few minutes later to raise complaints, she was very rude and kept defending herself and refused to listen to my concerns.

This is not the level of services I expect from JoJo. It has made hesitate to visit the store again.

I went in the store yesterday to have my my 15 half month olds feet measured there was to really really lovely ladies on the shop floor. They were amazing with my little one who loved the shop and were so helpful one lady had blue hair soon to be purple today and other lady had blonde hair. They were so kind and when above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. Thankyou so much we will back again :) xx
