North East Sling Library

Having done some research into baby carriers, I soon realised that standard high street carriers were not ideal for my daughter. Rachel at the North East Sling Library holds regular drop in sessions where she teaches you how to use a carrier or sling and for a small fee can then borrow it for a fixed period of time.
Without the library I'm not sure I would have dared spend money on a woven wrap and goodness knows where I would have learned to use it if I had. Via the Sling Library's facebook group Rachel also answers any queries as soon as she can.
She has opened my eyes to a world of slings and even now I go back to browse her every growing collection!

I highly recommend the North East Sling Library. I have visited the library on several occasions, mostly accompanying my daughter in her quest for slings in which to carry her children. However, I have also visited as a grandmother who wished to carry her grandchildren in a sling on occasion. I could not have wished for a more friendly and knowledgeable welcome. Not only was I advised on which sling would be best for my needs but there were numerous and varied slings to try on without being rushed. One advantage of visiting a sling library is an opportunity to hire a sling/slings to be doubly sure the right choice has been made.
