Very disappointed today. Visit started off nicely with good service from the lady that served me. My mum got some food too. At the end of her meal my mum popped up to use the toilets like she had done in the past. One of the ladies came over from the counter as asked if she was with me so I said yes and that she was just using the toilet. I was then told that she couldn't so said, as I was still eating, can you let her know then. She said as she is with you can't you which made no sense to me at all as I was still eating and she was able to approach me. As I didn't move fast enough at her beck and call she then muttered that she was probably using the toilet now anyway. Why she didn't just call up the stairs in the first place is beyond me. If the toilets are not to be used put a sign up and if you have a problem with a customer speak to the customer directly. I found the whole episode highly unprofessional.

Food was OK. The cafe area if that is what it is was dirty and the staff were either having a bad day or are normally not customer focused. They seem to have lot of regular customers and the selection looks good value. If the customer service was better and cleanliness improved I would come back. A welcome smile and a hello goes a long way.. :-)

Fantastic shop. Great food. Amazing baked sweets and savory pies. Good coffee.

Visited this bakery on Tuesday of this week. Was served by an older woman who was so straight faced. Smiles are FREE. When we asked were the pasteries fresh cream she said she assumed so. Then filled my cup full of water then SHE dumked my teabag in my cup and SHE decided how strong my tea was going to be. Then dumped it on the counter. NO tray, no bring to your table, no cutlery, in a word no nothing. Not impressed and would not recommend. The younger girl counter assistant is so pleasent. As is the Butcher.

Just about to order cuppas and something to eat in the cafe. I heard my wife ask where the toilets are. She was told. No toilets. Beware

Its a small and basic bakery and cafe, no complaints but dont expect the hiltons.
Clean.
Staff were friendly and produce tasted good.

Always an outstanding butchery and cake shop. A great range of takeaway rolls, cakes, biscuits etc, and the staff are friendly, fun and courteous! I would recommend this company to anyone unequivocally!

I think by far the best sandwiches you can get from a bakers. Also they do the best bacon and cheese turnovers as the are hot and not stone cold or slightly warm like gregs or cooplands
