Excellent place to go in the scenic village of Rawtenstall in the borough of Rossendale. “Mannings Bakery” has everything to cater for if you like freshly baked food. Delicious home cooked bread, pies, sausage rolls, and a wide selection of freshly cooked sandwiches available as well. A wide range of refreshing drinks & very polite and friendly staff with the great atmosphere of an old traditional bakery. If your ever in the Rawtenstall or Rossendale area, I highly recommended you try “Mannings Bakery”.

This shop has no organisation for its customers outside the shop was walking past today with my 2year old and customers all stood outside waiting to get in but not in a line down the side of the wall like other shops no all over the path blocking people from walking past so I was made to walk around everybody with a 2gear old on the road the shop needs to take responsibility and have clear direction like all the shops on bank street have.

All ready made sandwiches have egg put on them so if you have allergies and turn up and they've nothing else left to make sandwiches with you are still unable to get anything

If Greggs and Fortnum and Mason had a baby it would be mannings. Something very traditional and quintessentially British about this place.

Brilliant range of pies, butties, cakes and tea cakes / barm cakes / bread rolls and whatever Southern folk call them. Probably not for you if you're allergic to everything. Steak and cheese pie is an absolute better.

Food always good and staff friendly and helpful. Recommend the salad boxes particularly the tuna pasta but there is loads to choose from. Plenty of free parking close by.

Went to the Rawtenstall shop. Ordered a Turkey salad teacake, paid £3.25. Opened it up outside and couldn't believe what i saw. One slice of tomato. One slice of cucumber. One slice of egg. I went back in to complain, and was told that the staff are being watched by the bosses on cctv, and that is all they are allowed to put on a sandwich. I travel a lot with work, and In my opinion this is the worst value for money sandwich I have ever bought. So I got my money back and went to GREGGS.
