Lovely bakery and staff but disappointing that 3 workmen who entered shop together before me were not wearing masks. Staff informed me the men had been asked to do so previously but they ignored request. Surely staff can refuse to serve customers entering without masks. The notice on door requires this.Staff should not fear abuse from customers who put others at risk. Mask wearing is a requirement in all shops, unless exempt, and we should not have to put up with inconsiderate and dangerous behaviour. Maybe the shop manager can discuss with staff the procedures they can take in those circumstances to keep all customers safe.

Have had quite a few problems when ordering online, there appears to be no quality control as to what is sent out compared to what is ordered despite charging a 'service fee'. Frequently have missing or incorrect items delivered. In store they are fine but not worth ordering online from. Also annoying as the frequent refunds cover the cost of the items but never the service fee or delivery fee so if you have to order again then you are out of pocket.

Can't go wrong. They do their job to a tee. I needed a sandwich that wasn't on the shelf and they made it from scratch for me.

This branch is an absolute joke, the lady working here is rude very unprofessional, slammed my food on the counter, spoke to me in very rude manner disgusting behaviour. Staff here need to be sacked and replaced with staff with customer service skills. I will NEVER use this branch again AWFUL AWFUL PPL WORKING HERE. DISGUSTING BEHAVIOUR
The lady In question was working here on Saturday 17th September 2022 at 5.15pm, she refused to give me her name, she did not speak very good English i think she was Eastern European. She needs to be investigated as im not the only customer who feels this way.

Very rude lady at the counter, she has been extremely rude for months and as a former manager I don't understand how she is possibly still working there without anyone deciding to retrain her on customer service.
If you don't want to work facing people find a different job.

OK. Had to re-review...

Ordered 1 x sausage in a roll, 1 x sausage and bacon in a roll.
I saw her take the bacon and sausage to the back and saw she'd only taken one sausage. So I specifically asked her to repeat the order. I then checked the receipt.
Just got home and found I had 1 x sausage in a roll and 1 x bacon.

Please, it's not that hard. I ordered 2 items and asked them twice and they couldn't get it right.

Since the visit in my previous review, I have to acknowledge that I probably got them on a bad day.

Service is good, fillings are great. Certainly better quality and value than any Gregg's, if not the same wide selection.

Normally love Wenzel's and never had reason to complain, but the lady in the store this morning (Maria) is doing the store a massive dis-service. She only spoke to tell me the price, no acknowledgement, no pleases or thank-you. Next to me was a really nice old boy, who was being really polite and chirpy, and she did the same with him. She also got his order wrong (asked for 3 currant buns with butter and a coffee, she didn't butter the buns).
It can't be a very stressful place to work - especially at 8:30am, so I don't understand why she couldn't acknowledge the customers attempts to interact. Will think twice before returning.

very rude and arrogant staff, ordered a coffee and was handed it like i was a alien. i treat my pet better then the way i was treated. i asked for sugar and was given the worst look ive ever seen in a coffee shop.not nice as they were my regular place for breki. i hope the owners know about the staff that are in this branch.

Worst service ever. Been in bushey for a very long time. I know when I'm not welcome in a shop when I go. Very unprofessional and quick to judge others. I'm very appalled of there staff.. I went to buy some cakes and was spoken to like I was from space and made to feel like a I'm an outsider. It's a shame.
