Fresh, locally sourced 'artisan' food, relaxed atmosphere, comfy chairs and sofas. Snacks and lighter meals, range of teas, coffee. Fresh loaves of bread to take away. We prefer eating upstairs - more space. Recommended.

This loaded flapjack was great, a good selection of cakes on offer (may consider them a little expensive for the size), the property was full of character and staff were very friendly and welcoming.

Friendly bakery with a tasty selection of high quality products. The quality comes at a price and it's very expensive here. The hot food is good - sausage rolls, pasties and toasties are all very high quality and taste great.

I have always liked this bakery and building, with the sitting area upstairs it was a great place to sit and have a coffee and a bacon sarnie, or toast some of their delicious bread and add preserves then read a paper. I think its about time they opened up properly again, other places have managed! Picked up a loaf last Saturday, service was a bit slow as both of the staff behind the counter decided to serve one customer whilst I was just standing there waiting...bread was nice though and freshly baked on site that day.
