Greggs

Finally a Greggs in Islington! Long overdue! I received excellent customer service from the team today who served me professionally and all food and products were of excellent quality for a new Greggs branch. However, the store is extremely small and as a result not everything can be stocked! The sandwich selector lacked non meat options as the only non meat options available were the Tuna Crunch and Tuna and Sweetcorn Baguette. The savouries selector was extremely small and the Vegan Steak Bake and Vegetable Bake was not available. Lovely shop otherwise. In my opinion, Greggs should have brought a bigger shop on Islington High Street rather than Chapel Market.

Usual Greggs goodies but shop far too small and they ran out of sausage rolls two days this week, at the start of the lunch break! Also, the food on the hot counter is only luke warm and the cornish pasties are very small.

Staff was very rude. Tried to redeem one of my rewards from the app, they said it had expired (clearly said on the app that I still had another month to use it), they refused to acknowledge that it was not expired and dismissed what I said.
The guy then started to Ignore me and served someone else. When he came back to me he was rude and did not help at all.

I love greggs and eat at the one near my job all the time (the one near bethnal green), and thought I would give my local greggs (the one near angel), however after this experience not only will I never return to this greggs, I am considering not eating at greggs anymore. Although the staff at the bethnal green shop are very polite and friendly, the way I was treated in the angel shop was unacceptable and judging by how they speak to customers I have no idea how these people work there or were even hired in the first place, as they have no manners or customer service skills

Food is tasty but when it comes to a just eat order I have specifically paid for 2x steak bakes! Why send 1? Why?

I tend to order my breakfast from them through the app and it's always a nice experience! Staff is friendly and helpful, service is quick and efficient!

Does the job, always got a good selection in stock. The staff are very friendly but have to remove a couple of stars for the speed of service. Some of us are on tight breaks and often have to wait in a long queue for just one item while the staff wait for other people's coffees to brew. While waiting, why not serve the next customer in the meantime instead of talking. Or talk while serving the next.

This store is always closed well before the actual closing time.
On two occasions I have been there to collect too good to go bags and the store was in the darkness. The store opening times are on the window stating open until 6pm weekdays and it is shut well before 5.30.

Was having problem with contactless and kindly asked the staff if she can refreshed it for me, she got extremely rude saying it’s not her fault i don’t have my card, rolling her eyes and telling me to hurry up . Customer service is always a problem here.
