My morning ritual on a work day is a coffee before I hit the tube.

I’ve passed this place a few times when it’s been busy and had every intention of returning.

Well this morning I have and I can recommend the coffee and the delicious cinnamon buns!

All the other bread, pastries all look just as good.
Great selection of interesting cookies, including vegan options.

Small until with good use of space and comfortable seating.

Great quality coffee and nicely presented

I’ll be back soon to try the breads they look amazing!

Give it a go!

Fika time! Those cinnamon buns are delicious, the coffee and the atmosphere were great. This bakery is worth a stop before you take the tube in High Street Kensington.

For your Swedish bread or pastry fix. The Rye bread is great and so are the cardamom buns or vanilla slices. Get a coffee to go with your order

Tried their famous cinnamon bun but it is not for me as there is an overpowering cardamom flavour added which I didn’t understand. Why did they add cardamom to their cinnamon buns? It is misleading for the customers to label it as cinnamon bun. They sell cardamom buns too, the cinnamon buns should be labelled as cinnamon & cardamom buns.

Their plain croissants were way too salty and lacked the buttery flavour a proper croissant should have

Coffee was really good, and the cinnamon bun and brownie were also nice. Maybe slightly dry but they were ok.
The establishment itself is nothing to rave about and I wouldn’t say id be keen to revisit. It was just OK. Nothing exceptional. On the contrary the layout is abit awkward and uninviting. Regardless, we awkwardly sat down for some coffee and a treat.

It was abit off putting when the barista started blasting RnB music from the cafe speakers while she was cleaning that made us get up and leave. So overall- would not recommend nor bother with a second visit.

I’ve been here before to try the cardamom bun but after purchasing it again I’m not so sure. It was a bit too sweet (too much sugar on top) and didn’t taste as soft as it did before. I also tried the seasonal blueberry bun with was decent but a bit bland. They were both for £3.00.

I have mixed feelings about this shop, I really love the cardamon bun (even though they don't warm it to you, trust me, at home do it) and the bread with cherries, but the place is a bit uninviting, the girl tworking there is very dry and doesn't really want to explain about the products. So, I'd advice you to buy your stuff and eat at home (warm and cosy).
