Frankonia the Bread House

We spent over £12 here for a few items and were left feeling very short changed on the quality and taste of these products, for the prices charged.
The small Sourdough bread, this is and I suspect cooked from frozen, lemon drizzle cake tasted powdery, drizzle and icing passable. Blueberry & chocolate Muffins again terrible.
I would give these guys a wide berth. We can all have a bad day, but 4 out of 4 products proving to be not up to the mark, is pretty bad form indeed.

We have been buying bread and pastry there since the first lockdown. Good quality across the board plus very friendly and efficient staff. The brioche burger buns are the best I’ve ever used and the croissants are really good. Pretzels are a bit soft but I guess they are not Brezen, so it’s ok. Not the cheapest place but the quality is there to justify the price.

my boss robbed me on my vacation pay, I lost almost 300f. I do not recommend working in this company without respect for employees. already reported to the relevant services. all bread in this bakery is frozen

Delicious pastries and bread. We visit every Friday and treat ourselves to a delicious treat. Recommend the pain au chocolat and Apple crumble muffin. Delicious.

Quality is hit and miss. Some good, some v v average. What put me off was being charged 5£ extra in the store and zero reaction when I complained.
