Always always ALWAYS amazing and worth the trek now I live the other side of London. Their weekend and seasonal specials like this hot cross bun are something to travel for. And their signature maple and bacon is like no other. Perfect coffee to go with any pastry.

Deliciously flakey pastries! Tried their pain aux chocolate (massive), almond croissant, and current weekend special - black forest gateau.

Visited on Saturday around lunch and surprisingly the line wasn't long.

Marmite pastry was wonderful, cardamom bun not my favourite. Very busy place which illustrates its popularity, but I ordered only two pastries (no hot drinks) and it took 10 mins for them to put them in a bag and bring out to me. I’d love to try the food menu but find the place itself confusing and not sure how it works. The chocolate croissant was sold out by the time I got there but it looks incredible!

Good coffee and bakes (though the prices were steep in my opinion).
Service could be better. I ordered a latte and a pastry for dining in and 2 other pastries to takeaway. I sat down and shortly after my items were sent to me as a takeaway. I was rather disappointed but just do not want to say anything much at that point…

My favorite coffee spot in Angel (and being from Melbourne, my palette has gotten very used to world class coffee)! And I’ve tried every coffee shop in that vicinity. The maple bacon is also amazing, I’ll be having one at least once a week!

Probably one of the best bakeries I have been to. The croissant are as good as any I have had in France. They were the perfect combination of flaky and buttery. The ham and cheese was great. The star is definitely the maple bacon croissant that has really thick strips of streaky bacon inside but just the right amount of maple syrup. They made some great cortados too! I would definitely come back.
