I am going to this bakery for over 2 years every Saturday because they have great sausage rolls. Spend every week between £12.00 and £15.00 Expensive but good. This week I asked for a crusty bacon roll which was £2.95. When I looked at it. It had 2 sad pieces of bacon in it. When I asked for an extra piece of bacon the lady shouted rudely to me. YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR THAT! Now I am Dutch and they say the Dutch are cheap. But this is a completely different level of being cheap! I guess a miserable piece of bacon is more important to this lady than a weekly returning customer! Not that they care.... I was planning a party and thinking of getting my food from this bakery. But with such rude customer service I bring my business somewhere else from now on!

Opened late (7:40) this morning and always eager to close earlier and not serve within last half hour. Staff feel rude and unwelcoming. Expensive which would be ok as the food is good but not with this customer service approach. Much better service and care on cafe next door. We always avoid going. Strange policy to charge you to seat even if place is empty but is what it is. You don’t need to shout about it and make people feel insulted when they kiss that detail. Will avoid visiting this branch.

Very large range of sandwiches, roll, baguettes etc made exactly to your requirements. Hot savoury things. Cakes and drinks. Eat in or out or take away. Polite and efficient staff.

Food is good, however I was missing half of my order. Ordered two big hot chocolates to go with breakfast and they never arrived.

Very disappointed. Very poor service and lack of attention. I bought some food for a quick family lunch. Once I got home I realised they had forgotten to put the 2x egg rolls in the bag. I went back to collect them. Once home I was putting the food on plates and realised they had not given me the 2 vegan mushroom rolls and had given me mushroom and chicken pasty instead. I would have gone back but I’d already spent 20 minutes going back to get the egg rolls. It’s a shame as I’ve normally had a very good experience with Simmons.

This is a nice, local bakery which produces tasty bread and snacks. We have visited numerous times and have not been disappointed once. Service is polite and efficient.

Happened to be passing by at lunchtime. What a great little cafe! Polite helpful staff spotlessly clean and an amazing range of goodies. Couldn't resist a hot sausage sandwich and coffee. And cake🍮🍰
