Dough Artisan Bakehouse

Visited the place after all the social media hype and was very excited and really wanted to like this place. However, when I visited it this morning i was quite disappointed. Advertised opening time is 8am, so went there by 8:15 in case they're not punctual, but was still made to wait outside for a while and the door was locked. Not sure why because the shelves were bare and the girl was just on her phone. Didn't get anything that I actually went there for as they didn't have almost anything on the shelves, apparently hadn't had the delivery yet.
Also, the sign on the door said "opening week deals" but there was none.
Then they got my coffee order wrong - being lactose intolerant I ordered it with almond milk. When i saw cow's milk being used and I pointed it out, instead of trying to fix it the girl was very defensive and said she didn't hear it and didn't charge me for it (?!?!?!?). (I only said almond milk about 5 times when ordering to be 100% sure). Like I was trying to cheat something out of her?! I had a large order and had no idea if she did so or not as there was a lot of things and never got a receipt and said I'm happy to pay extra if she can only fix the order (anyway where was the promised deals at 🤣). Instead of starting to fix it she was arguing, not sure where's the point as I can't take the cow's milk coffee anyway. Luckily she made the coffees again at the end.
Overall very disappointing experience with bare shelves and bad service.
EDIT a day later:
Marketing all over the place was A VEGAN bakery, but guess what - I've been very sick all day as it wasn't vegan (lactose intolerance &allergy). Had to downgrade from 2* to 1*.

Was very disappointed with the lack of availability on the menu. No halloumi, no panini's, cakes out of stock but still had the signs up for them. Tables were not clean had to ask for this to be done. Large macchiato was tiny, sausage roll was very average. Oreo milkshake was okay nothing great. The sprinkle donut was lovely, really nice icing. Definitely not an artisan bakehouse at all though and we won't be going back.

Great little spot in Beckenham with super friendly staff and great tasty treats. The Oreo donut was a huge hit with my 6 year old. Enjoyed a solid cappuccino in the back garden which makes for a nice break from the busy high street. Nice to find a great locally owned business rather than the other standard big corporate chains. Will be back to work my way through the donuts!

Got a delivery from here, must say, one of the top takeaways I've gotten, couple of panini's, big, full and cheapish, weird selection of brownies, sure, not the absolute best, but pretty mental and lovely. Big ol' slab of banana cake too.

Deffo ordering again. Hopefully it's consistent :)

Purchased what was a posh/deluxe sausage roll, lady was about to microwave it as I quickly said no that’s ok. Brought home oven re-heated it and sad to say but after 3 bites the rest was thrown in the bin. Filling was far too blitzed and mushy, tasted of slight mould hence the bin. Sorry I never took a photo.

Been a couple of times for lunch. Sandwiches were very ordinary and there's never any special chicken. Nicely decorated inside and prices were reasonable. Service could have been a bit friendlier.

Went there just after 9 this morning. No bread on the shelves. Having said that their sourdough is awesome.

Really Lovely Food and Hot Chocolates are amazing. Great Vegan options, friendly staff and the atmosphere is nice.
Would come back just for the hot chocolate alone!
