We walked while walking in the Borough Market and we couldn’t resist buying dessert here. We tried the pastry that has a thick layer of custard cream and a layer of almonds and honey on the top. It was delicious! I am generally not a fan of creamy pastries but this one was very good. It was a bit sweet for me but it goes great with coffee (Monmouth coffee is very close).

I’ve been buying their whole cakes for over a decade. As a decadent treat I don’t necessarily purchase them very often, but their cakes are good value and delicious. I’m never disappointed.

We had lemon tarte and "choclate nemesis". Wow! Great taste! Thank you very much for cutting a tarte so we could buy some pieces! Also - being from Germany we can rate it - a great range of authentic German food. Great food and great service!

Spend 10 pounds for three cakes. Brownie, mandrain cake 🍊 , and a corner of cheese cake. All amazing!! Totally recommend

Went to the stall to pick up some bread and also got tempted by the gorgeous spinach quiche... oh my word, how delicious! Perfect ratio of spinach, cheese, and custard, and the butteriest crust you ever could want. Will definitely be back!

Had a truly poor experience with an older gentleman who was at the stand. Had gotten the Ricotta Cheesecake 2 days ago from a younger, nice guy, took it home, we did not like it. We found it dry and somewhat lacking in taste, brought it back 2 days ago, explained to the guy, he seemed understanding at first but increasingly got agitated and annoyed that I was asking for a different cake, complained he had never received a complaint in 15 years of selling in, then that I 'waited two days' to bring it back and had the audacity to try some of it before brigining it back. Then as he was packing me another quark-based cheesecake, he was grabbing it with no gloves or anything. I finally insisted he just refund me and left. It was a poor poor way of dealing with a customer.

Amazing sourdough. Beautifully fresh and such flavour! Also had the Bienenstich which was incredible. Really delicious authentic German food which is hard to find in London.
