Sandwiches were pretty good and there was nothing wrong customer service wise. Only allowing two customers in the shop at once seems very arbitrary and would put me off going again when other places in the area don’t have any requirements, though.

Beautiful tomato and pepper soup great for a rainy day. 3 kinds of scones with or with cream etc. Great selection of cakes sandwiches toasties jacket potatoes etc.
All these people moaning about cost. Overheads including rent electricity water aircon cleaning materials and staff need to be paid for if you want cheap pack yourself up don't expect someone to serve you.

Stopped for a coffee and a bacon roll at the Cockermouth branch. The two lady's working at the time were so nice and pleasant. Even our dog was welcomed with a slice of bacon as we sat outside.

An ok place. We had an americano. A hot choclate. a danish pstrie, A vege pie and a cheese toaster. Total cost 14£. Danish was the best. Coffee is machine based, so not really barista made.

Staff made you feel quite unwelcome. The worst chicken salad I've ever had. A side plate of separated ingredients with chicken slices on the side. Steak pie very small for £3.45. Very over priced and tasteless. I will not return.

Beautiful little bakery/takeaway on the Cockermouth main street which also offers inside dining. Food was delicious and freshly prepared, coffee and cakes for afters also excellent. Only one staff member on duty, she was extremely proficient and very customer focused. A credit to the Brysons team. We will definitely be back in the not too distant future

Was the only "cafe" we could see that seemed open on a Sunday for indoor service. I can't recommend this place as it's not a "proper" bakery, i.e. Scone was not fresh and the prices are not particularly reflective of the overall quality.
