Little pricey for some products, yes I'm looking at you caramel donut!
Great sausage rolls and bread.
Quite a small shop so it can get a bit crowded say times. Staff are generally friendly, not looking to be your friend but polite and professional.

Really disappointed. Nothing wrong with the quality but I didn't get exactly what I asked for. My granddaughter wanted a Jubilee cupcake with a chocolate teapot on top & my husband wanted a custard slice.
Whe we got home we had a cupcake but no chocolate teapot & a cream slice.
Admittedly they ate the cakes but the member of staff should have taken more care whe completing the order.

Great bakery and food but when picking up “chia rolls” the lady with the big lips on the counter corrected me to say “you mean chai rolls” I was not buying a chai latte I was buying the seeded chia seed rolls. If you google the pronunciation you’ll find it’s pronounced chee-uh and I was in fact correct about this. No need to talk down to customers when you are wrong - know your products and know how to say them.

Fresh cakes and bread are very good, but went primarily for breakfast. It was just about OK. Felt very much like woolworths cafe from the 80's.

Rude staff and poor service! If you work in the service industry you have to at least not look miserable when dealing with customers and have a bit of patience.

Also, not specific to this store but Birds need to do better to cater for more dietary choices including vegetarian and Halal options, or at least not look offended if asked about them!

Food was okay, tea was great! But still not going back.

It is ok to have treat from there from time to time.
I usually do shopping at Mapperley Brunch as staff there is so friendly and welcoming.

Lovely bakery, lovely staff and some good offers.

Like Greggs but better staff always have a smile on there faces and good value food
