Love the variety of bread available, all very tasty. Plus the wide variety of cakes, Including a variety of Australian crunches. This time of year their hot cross buns are wonderful.

This quaint little bakery shop is one of the best kept secrets in Somerset.

If you're ever passing Martock and in need of a sweet treat, be sure to stop by Bakery Roy-Al. If you live in Martock and haven't been here... you're missing out!

This small bakery has an impressive selection of desserts, including vegan options, as well as breads, rolls, and other savory items. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend them

Friendly staff, good vegan pasty and surprisingly many vegan treats including iced buns, Chelsea buns and different flavoured flapjacks. Tried the iced buns, delicious, fresh and large! Flapjacks, tasty too and large, just the Chelsea too try, can't wait! Think they may also have a couple more sweet treats available but not all the time.

Pastries and cakes (as well as bread) in the Royal are absolutely deliciously and you can tell they are freshly made. I haven't been in a bakery for years but moved to Martock in August. I cant walk past this bakery without nipping in for a cheeky iced finger.

Their Cheese and onion torpedo rolls used to be a thing of beauty, full of cheese and onion, but over the past few months the amount of filling has diminished, in fact it took 3 bites before I even found any cheese and a few bites later before I came across a paltry bit of red onion, please return to How you used to make them.
