Sunday pm.stopped for a coffee with family. Service quick as it was quiet but cleanliness left a lot yo be desired. Tables, chairs and floor in desperate need of being cleaned. Bin etc for your tea bags etc over flowing. No excuses as it was not busy. Lazy staff!

I gave them 3 stars mainly because I appreciate their sale of vegan sausage rolls and wish they would have more vegan food. And I haven't rated it higher mainly because of their staff. On a few occasions, it took them a while to appear from the backroom to serve customers... Also recently there is young girl most likely apprentice and she was filling buns with ketchup but had no gloves on which is a hygiene issue... I believe these reviews are checked by Greggs employees so that they know how to improve their services and reputation...

Working in the area for the weekend so wanted something simple. I asked for a VEGAN sausage cheese and bean pasty, was given a cheese and onion. I didn't complain as I don't like too and it wasn't a problem as I'm vegetarian, not vegan. Went again the next day (yesterday) asked again for another vegan pasty, and half way through eating it I had my suspensions that it wasn't veggie, the pastry seemed different and didn't come in the normal vegan labelled bag. I out it in the bin not wanting to finish it. Bought another one today and made sure it was definitely a vegan one, only to vonfirm that the one I got yesterday was completely different and most definitely contained meat. Not happy as I specified vegan and even pointed at the product.

Don’t go to spytty greggs if you want variety. They don’t stock their baguettes fresh everyday and the shelves are never full early morning… I have gone back midday just in case I catch them at the wrong time but no. Tandoori baguettes are never here also… been waiting weeks for them to bring them back.

Slow service, only 1 staff member working whilst rest stand in back with a queue of 10 plus people. Need new management

Friendly and professional staff that kept the queue moving and the food items restocked. Great example of a successful Gregg's and what others should aspire to.
Top notch staff and well run

Only dropped a star as it can be hit and miss on readiness of baked goods and temperature of items. Usually call in Sat mornings after doing weekly shop for savoury sausage roll and coffee. Great reward system on app. Also the ability to donate to children's breakfast through an in-store scheme, which is not always available in some other branches. Staff are always friendly.

Thanks to Kayleigh for her wonderful service. She was so kind to me and my son. Gave him a free small hot chocolate after we bought a coffee. Not many places would do that. Thanks Kayleigh.
