trying to get to our local bank in blackburn with darwen is imposable a on telephone after going to the 0870 or 0845 number ti wastes time telling if you want to save money dial a0345 or 0370 then all you get asking fore more numbers code then more numbers for date of birth then more numbers for your security password online banking (dont use) then cuts off . all i want to ask is to check something on my account with a PERSON not that in able to give a answer.So I dont have to go miles to ask and miles back since you removed our local branch that I used for 45 years. so why cannot there be a local branch phone number to call ??????perhaps that is to easy to let small savers to be considered .

Internet says that HSBC is open Saturday till 2pm. I got there and the doors where open but all the cashiers are closed so I could not do the thing I came in to do. There were machines and a lady ask if I could use those but when I explained she said it was not possible to do with machines. It is very misleading to say you are open when you are in fact closed. I spent all my money getting into town just to be turned away. I am glad this is not my bank.

Once again hsbc has no care for its customers, closed the burnley branch and the Blackburn branch is only open till 2. This is becoming a joke, I've had to make a special journey to be here and its closed making the nearest bank PRESTON. So this is the final straw for my business, we're done, we're moving and there is nobody to blame except yourself. What an absolute shambles of a company.

Definitely new refurbished, but no counters.
And also just one paying in machine,should have had two paying in machine.
So now it take twice as long!!!

Not very well planned out.
Plus no Saturday opening, proper deflated.

Went through during the week and was greeted by Anisha who was very helpful and assisted me in making an appointment to open a bank account.

On my visit to open the account was greeted by Ian who was absolutely fantastic, he assisted my wife and I in opening an account and gave us a rundown of everything else, all went seamless and he was quick and efficient, he answered all our questions and even assisted us in a savings account and global account. He was fantastic and overall experience with HSBC was great.

I concur with the other low reviews. So many times I went and it was closed despite no notification on the website.

Only one paying in machine and no counters. It takes a long time to get anything done if there's anyone in front.

The staff enjoy leaning over their podium and having a natter whilst customers wait. Not a very professional attitude I'm afraid.

I took a day off from work in order to go to the bank. When i arrived there , the full branch was under renovation. I even checked the opening time and their website. They said they are open , but in reality ........... Very proffessional !!! Good job ! Keep it that way

New look but God they have no sense of direction in the place . Ridiculous waiting times. Not enough staff. They have got rid of the counters. Not enough seating for people wating , no queueing system. What a shambles. Time to change banks i think
