Very good and friendly staff. Always ready to help. There does seem less staff at time but they manage well. They help senior citizens. They are well knowledgeable.

Great bank, fast and efficient; I just wish it was open longer hours :)

Mon 27/11/17. Customers waiting 20 min + told to bank elsewhere if they don't like it. Three rude & abusive staff. Avoid!
Update: mother-in-law received letter saying note has been put on her account about verbal abuse to staff, seems calm complaining is verbal abuse. She was the quietest in the queue.

Shocking service since refit, 1 person serving and 15 people in que, terrible, changing banks if next visit is like this. - update 15/12/17. Closed account same service , no apologies for extended wait in line, looks like their pushing for online and self banking, also refit looks like an ikea refurb, weird

Looks like a childrens playground, since refurbishment. Staff not helpful. Obviously lining this branch for closure as hoping to deter customers and say its not needed. Shame WAS a good branch with helpful staff.

Popped in yesterday to open a children's bank account, the customer service rep said the was nobody qualified to do it and the had staff off due to the half term break and covid, really shocking service.
We went to Nationwide and had a more welcoming visit, our account was opened done and dusted in 5 minutes.
We only visited the branch for a id check, why do you have to be qualified to open a online account.
Halifax couldn't open a bank account in a bank! That's what we were told.

Although it is stated that this branch is open Saturday, it clearly isn't. My husband works 6 days a week and needed to take money out to pay bills. Finished work early Saturday to do this. It was closed! Not very helpful.

Been using this branch for about 30 + years. Always helpful, never had a problem.
