Worst ever experience in a Natwest branch here today – and I've been a customer for over 30 years. I can only assume that the set up at this branch is designed to drive away all but business bankers. Even if you want to make a very simple transaction, like a transfer or foreign cheque pay-in you are forced to 'log in' with a smart alec with an iPad, who directs you to a waiting area like an NHS waiting room. All I wanted to do was make a transfer and get a receipt for it but had to run a gauntlet of patronising questions such as 'Have you tried online banking' (er...yes) and was then told I was behind someone waiting to open an account. When I pointed out this was a ridiculous system iPad guy told me he didn't like my tone and refused to serve me. Way to go Natwest – if you want to insult and make life difficult for your customers.

Over 2 weeks to receive a bank account card for my daughter and sending to incorrect address twice! after going into branch and making sure all the details were correct.

Also this branch was requested to call me twice and no returned calls to resolve.

Very poor service.

The staff are rude and never seem in a hurry to help anyone. Misleading with information.
Stay away and bank somewhere better. Unbelievable

I went into this branch last week and I just cannot praise the staff highly enough. I was welcomed with a smile and assisted on the machines, before meeting with Laura, who was so compassionate and helpful, and just so kind. I hope she gets the recognition she deserves. Thank you Laura!

Very good service.
The staff were helpful and I didn't have to wait long to see an advisor.
They handled my transaction quickly and efficiently.

Excellent staff - I went in with a problem and they helped me sort everything out quickly and efficiently.

When I explained I did not have the NatWest app on my phone Nick showed me how to install it and demonstrated how it worked. The staff were all brilliant, very smart, polite, efficient.

Nick, who showed me how to use the NatWest App went over and above the kind of service I expected - a credit to the bank and I was very pleased with the experience I had in the branch.

Excellent service, thank you

Every time I come into this branch I am surprised at how efficient and kind the staff are. It's always a completely stress-free experience. They do try to get you to use the self service machines, but there is always someone super-helpful to walk you through. Failing that, there are normal cahiers towards the back.
