Slow and under staffed
I visit on a regular basis but only due to convince of working round the corner I always have to join the very slow moving que and with only ever one member of staff behind the counter surly the person that stands there trying to unsuccessfully help ppl in the que would be of far better use serving behind the counter instead

Lady at the till was rude and uptight whilst speaking to me as I was requesting a transfer of money to get a car. She started using lingo I’d never heard before and was annoyed when I didn’t understand what she was saying. Another lady working at the help and advice was very good as she greeted us as we walked in and was generally a good worker.

Having tried the automatic money rejecting machine I then waited 10 minutes while an elderly confused gentleman was served pointing out the only one till open was unacceptable a lady did come out with a notepad no use to me as I wanted to deposit money she then patronized me in a condescending manner informing me they only had one cashier working in all branches👎👎👎
I pointed out Barclays do a damn sight better in fact I left and went there and was served and out in under 30 seconds👍👍👍
As a result of a formal complaint Halifax contacted me and listened to my experience in branch and have assured me they will take the matter further and hopefully service will improve.
