HSBC Bank plc

I have just been to the branch to make a business payment and been told they can’t do it due to not enough staff to authorise the transaction. I am confused that they have 2 staff at the cashier ( only 2 windows/cashiers at this branch) and even one is a branch manager. How did that work? Does it need more than 2 people to do so?

Took some paperwork in 6 weeks ago, as requested, with proof of ID etc. Just discovered it was never passed onto head office by this branch, as it should have been. Now I have to wait another 10 days for a replacement form and go in again.

Absolutely useless branch. Sarcastic, incompetent and rude staff. I have to make all my enquiries to other branches to have normal service. Better close it, not to waste clients time.

Visited on the 18th May. A sign on the door due to shortage of staff we won't be open. Came back the 19th. On their website. Says their open. Arrive at the bank another note saying they will be open on the 26th.. a useless bank that offer no support and appauling customer service. Moving to another bank after this covid-19

The staff are rude, arrogant and unhelpful. This poor attitude has been apparent for some time so I can only assume it is part of their training programme.

Please note that despite this page saying this branch is open 10am to 2pm everyday it isn't and hasn't been for the last week. It was saying it was temporarily closed before that but it hasn't yet reopened.

2 people on, not many customers, we want to confirm our account but the staff said we are too busy come back next week! Too busy for custom? We are busy people too. What the hell. Finally went to Leamington where the staff were lovely. Kenilworth branch get your priorities right!!!

I tried to deposit money into my Auntie account. The member of staff told me I couldn't do it as it was not my account. She was very rude and sarcastic.
