Selvice is polite. But queues bad. Cash Machine quite often not working. Three times in one day I tried to get to see cashier long queues only two staff on all time at tills.as I work Monday to Friday not good. Today 9 minutes wait.

Expect a long wait. Extremely hot inside, understaffed and slow. Waited 40mins to be finally told they couldn't help. As opposed to employing people to actively discourage human-to-human service, NatWest would do much better to simply staff the place adequately. Feeling seems very mutual with customers each and every time I go into the branch. Not good

Edit: Even worse now. You have to book an appointment to ask anything. What an absolute joke

Another edit: Worse every time. Cannot wait to finish uni and close my account after 15+ years, stay well away.

Dreadful bank. Blatantly obvious that NatWest are desperate to close the bank (all banks for that matter). Closed all but one kiosk. One poor member of staff at the front doing the job of 3. Speaking to confused customer's telling them to "book in" with 30-40 min wait times. Rather than the standard que in line and be seen by one of 5 staff which was fast and effective. Of course that requires 5 staff and NatWest are closely closing the bank so that old way is no longer in their interest. Shame the good days of personal banking are gone.

Speaking to a manager she is silly enough to believe this is to "improve customer service".

It is clearly because they have cut staff. The purpose of this new system is to encourage customer's to use the machines and get used to doing so. The bank have already cut 50+% of staff and the end goal is clearly to close the bank in replacement of online banking.

Fine I get it but don't pretend that this is the benefit of the customer. Your staff are not safe in their job, it's only a matter of time.

As for the bank itself if you want to be paid a ridiculous interest of 0.01% on savings in a 10% inflation environment this is the bank for you. It's no wonder that millions of UK citizens are switching to Chase bank who's paying a nice 1.5% interest on savings.

Highly recommended bank. It has a good entrance for the disabled, with kind help inside the bank if you need it. Its my favourite bank in Ashford Kent.

It's like Marmite, I really like natwest and other times I don't like NatWest. Personally I think the old system worked well, just needed a few upgrades. Lovely staff, always friendly. I would recommend banking with. This is the reason for the 3star rating.
