Halifax

I went in here recently to open a help-to-buy ISA. I've never been with Halifax before. They were very helpful, answered my questions clearly and well, gave me all the information I needed and operated the advice free service advertised perfectly.

I especially liked that they used videos to explain the details of the account I was opening, because it gave me the certainty that nothing was being missed out.

They offered me tea and coffee when I arrived and kept to time well.

Opening hours are a joke. 4.30 close, no thought for the average worker who may need to get to the bank after work.

Went in 10 minutes before close to deposit a cheque. The lady (didn’t catch her name) was extremely helpful and approached me and explained I could do it on the online app. She showed me there and then! I wasn’t even mad I made the trip out especially, brightened up for day after a rubbish day at work! Thank you

The staff here are first class with a kind genuine attitude towards their customers i would recommend anyone to this bank

Went in to do a switch as TSB are closing the 2 branches local to me. Was unable to open in branch but was done over the phone. First class service, Sam was very patient and answered all my questions and happily did the switch. Hassle free and great service. Well done Halifax!!

Suppose it’s ok ! Never really busy - staff are polite- can’t see this branch staying for much longer

I managed to shut myself out of my online banking , called into the branch and was all sorted in about 10 mins, second time I've locked myself out of online banking and the staff are super helpful, thanks to the lady who sorted out my problem.
