Lloyds Bank

Terrible experience trying to get hold of Lloyds.

Currently I am in Queensland Australia until dec. I use online banking daily to check my account and ensure my direct debts have been taken out.

I am trying to make contact with Selby Lloyds branch, there is no number and no email to explain my problem.

I know ringing the main number from outside the Uk will cost me £1 a min and due to the length of call, it could be a costly affair. Also .i am 9 hrs ahead of Uk, so ringing everyone concerned means i may be up till 2am trying to sort it.

My wage has been paid into my old TSB account which normally transfers over to Lloyds, for some strange reason this month my hasn't been transferred to lloyds and instead is floating somewhere in banking land. the changes happened when the banks split and i was moved to TSB, then transferred back to lloyds.

I have been a loyal customer since the age of 13, (30 years) and still they do not provide me with a office number or even an email to write to.

I may seriously consider moving all mine and my families accounts elsewhere if I do not get any help.

Totally appalling service trying to get hold of Lloyds Bank on hold for 37 minutes and then the line went dead so had to try again! Totally disgusting!!

It says it closes at 5pm but in the window it's 4pm. However on arriving at just before 3.55pm after rushing through the town centre, the doors were already closed!!??

A first class bank. I've had a Lloyds account for decades but used what is now calling itself TSB Bank in Goole. When Lloyds split, the service at Goole TSB collapsed and was dreadful. Such a pleasure to use Lloyds at Selby. Pleasant, knowledgeable staff who really want to help you.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff always ready to help. Quick, prompt and accurate service. Exactly what you'd want from an on-street branch. It's not their fault the back room staff at some call centre don't answer the phone!!

The young woman from eastern Europe who initially dealt with me was helpful and had good customer care awareness.
Unfortunately the more senior male person she passed me to let her down by reverting to Lloyds Bank type. The usual arrogant 'little customer is a necessary inconvenience and should spoken to as such' attitude.

Love lloyds bank friendly staff and very helpful.
