Incompetent staff - Went in with documents, was told they were not suitable. Was given a leaflet with suitable documents, checked the fine print later and my document should have been suitable. Went to another branch document accepted without question. Wasted several hours of my time due to them not knowing there own regulations.

I called this place and waited 15 minutes to be put through to a customer service agent, which wasn’t bad and I expected that. When I was put through, I was asked what my problem was and before I even stopped I was interrupted and asked for my full name. The agent said okay thanks, I let me put you on hold and I’ll check what I can do for you. I’ve not been on hold for over 40 minutes!!! I called up to set up a telephone pin because I haven’t set one up previously. What kind of service is this? The only thing I can imagine is that he picked up my call and was waiting to go on his lunch break or something!

Ridiculous bank cannot pay coins in to pay notes in need bank card was paying in for my son as he cannot get to a bank and never had to use bank card to pay in before will not return to Hinckley Rd again

I came to the branch(11 Hinckley road) this morning to open an account. Was in doubts before because of plenty negative reviews. Decided to try and then see how it goes. And - it went very well, actually! There was no queue in the morning, enough stuff members, friendly environment. My experience was with ELLIE(sorry if spelling incorrect) and it was a pleasure to work with her through my issues(I am new in banking). She was very kind and patient, very professional, she gave me as much time as I needed to learn new things(no rash, no bad temper), explained everything I needed, let me put my questions then and replied to each of them, all her attention was definitely on our work all the time I spent in the Bank. I would say I felt really welcomed, I had no problems there, I learned a lot, received all necessary information etc. Honestly, I was treated very well and after this first experience I can only give an excellent rating, otherwise i would lie. However, I realize it was only one visit. And I truly believe in customers reviews which show plenty of not very nice experiences. But today I have no reason to complain, it was a very pleasant and helpful visit. And I want to say -Thank You for your help, ELLIE! And I promise, even to myself, if I will have a different experience (same bad as many customers discuss about) in the future, I will come back with my honest review about it. But for today - the job was done perfectly and I 'd like to believe in a good service and kind attitude later on. Good luck to all (11 Hinckley Road, HSBC branch) stuff members!

The a very good service or round who needs cash when it's a cash society bank manager very helpful
