I have received the most unbelievably bad service from Barclays every step of the way in setting up a new account with them . None of the staff seem to understand business banking. It just seems to be one big joke!!!

Once upon a time, bank branches were imposing affairs, all marble and polished wood to convey a sense of solidify and permanence. Latterly, some have tried to be like Apple stores or Starbucks.
Twenty something years ago when this place last had a makeover, the designer of this branch seems to have been working towards a brief of dreary and slightly depressing.

Rather agree with Kevin Wallis-Ede about the transformation of banking during the banking lives of baby boomers. As juniors in the world of work we were treated respectfully as valued customers in those panelled banking halls . Nowadays it is all controlled by the computer and staff often seem obliged to treat customers as if they are fraudsters. I do wonder when things will improve (I am an optimist!). But I have always had pleasant service in this branch - although I don't think I have done anything at all complicated. I don't think that any bank currently deserves more than 2 stars but I'll give this branch 4 on a personal level.

I was seen by the branch manager, a very lovely lady who had helped me with a complaint regarding my account. She was able to quickly resolve my complaint. She was very understanding and professional. This manager absolutely deserves 5 stars for her customer service! Thank you Barclays Kings road branch.

Takes forever to get to the desk. Crazy in such a busy road to only have 2 tellers. Please bring back the deposit machine!!!

Went in to get change, simple request. Waiting half an hour for the woman to then tell me that the guy who does the change isn’t there so I’ll have to wait until he’s around. Then was super rude to me. Shocking customer service. Shocking
