Extremely unhappy with this branch.

Sue was extremely rude and definitely needs to do a costumer service refreshing course.

It took 1h30 to close an account, after providing 3 identifications and assign 4 times a paper. Unbelievable and terrible customer service.

Although I do most of my banking online these days, it’s still necessary to see a cashier occasionally or have a face-to-face account review. I’ve always found staff at this branch to be really friendly, helpful and efficient.

There appear to be more cashiers here than at some of their competitors’ branches and I’ve never had to wait too long. Arrangements during Covid times have been good and it’s a nice old building to visit.

Happy with the local branch in St Albans customer service, nevertheless the opening times have changed and it closes @15:30PM! I don't know any other place that closes that early. The only day that I manage to go is on Sat which is always full of people. Please expand the opening hrs for the people that work during the week can still access the branch! So disappointing.

My wife and myself went to open a joint account on Thursday morning we were told that we had to make an appointment. we arranged an appointment at 3pm that day we was met by a Chinese lady very hard to understand she asked for my on a number of occasions for my debit card.and did not return it until I insisted she was most un helpful and kept showing us accounts insisting that we could not have these. i requested that she should only show us accounts that were suitable for us we gave up in the end and went to Nationwide and opened an account there where they were incredibly helpful.

Outstanding staff, unfortunately the recently refurbished St Albans branch has changed simular to HSBC and other banks with less cashiers, more machines and no screen for cashiers just open desk. Please note my review is purely for the staff, the bank itself gets a 1 star from me for this refurbishment

After a very disappointing and unhelpful call to Lloyds central call centre reporting fraud on my business account the staff at this branch could not have been more helpful understanding and acted swiftly and decisively to stop further money leaving the account and Retrieving stolen money 10 out of 10
I hope Lloyd Bank will remember how important local staffed branches are to us customers

My mixed feelings are not really the fault of the branch but more likely due to policies required by the bank at a higher level. Last week, I asked what I thought was a fairly simple question at the reception counter. I am sure the lady knew the answer but, instead, said I needed to book a 1 hour appointment with a banking consultant. I read it as a way for the bank to explore ways they might be able to make more money from me. So I had to go all the way back and was then asked if I minded the meeting being recorded via a microphone. I agreed but what a cheek! The consultant and other staff I came into contact with, all seemed very pleasant.

Terrible customer service! Credit card was stuck in their ATM (not swallowed just stuck as the machine stopped working) and they were very rude and condescending. They wouldn't help as the card was not a lloyds one. Had to cancel the card as when the machine eventually works again anyone could take it!
