With HSBC branches shutting down all over the place, I just wanted to pop in and deposit a cheque but I couldn't as the 'systems were down'. Friendly staff though

Good bank, I guess

Normal modern bank service, no counter service, self deposit, and iPad employees who try to cut the cue but ask your needs and with no privacy from other customers or they cannot help with your needs and watch you wait anyway while they could have been behind the counter in the first place!
It is the same in most banks not only here

Lovely staff, always make you feel welcome unlike Welwyn's HSBC.

Very unhelpful staff verging on rude.

Closes too early just awful 😞
